The Couch-to-5K Running Plan

I've had a treadmill for about 2 months now and use it regularly but can never build my endurance up to anything worth mentioning. On my way to take Macie to school today I heard about this running plan on B98, so I'm going to try it. Tonight was my first night and I could actually handle it..I usual don't stick to routines like this, but I'm going to try.

Tonight I had to walk for the first 5 minutes, alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes.

Funny that you wrote about this today! I've been seeing how some of my other friends are running 5k and thinking to myself, I could NEVER do that!!! But this actually gives me hope. And what's cool is that I asked for a treadmill for my b-day! I think I would enjoy something as simple as this and gives me some kind of goal to reach! I love this!! THANKS!

John and Julie at my office are doing that. They meet at Ben Geren with a whole bunch of people on Sundays. I got the email like a month ago to join. Haaa Have fun!!!!
