1st Soccer Game of 2009

Tonight was Macie's 1st freezing soccer game of the Spring 2009 season. She scored one amazing goal..I'm not sure what happened, but I think she did one hard kick then got tripped and fell down, but the ball went in the goal..A-mazing!!!! No picture of that!! Not sure why!

We have an incredible player..Kuddos to Omar!! That little guy has some skillz..The whole team played well and we won..Not supposed to keep score, but in this house WE ALWAYS KEEP SCORE.

Rainy Day Crafts + A Miracle

The other day I bought the boys these wooden bulldozers at Michael's (love that store btw) for a $1..Yup, love that store! Today Macie had a b-day party to go to, so I thought the boys could work on their bulldozers while we were gone. The guys had other plans for when we were gone, but after nap time Jason put the wooden bulldozers together and let the boys paint their own. Eli was painting his exactly like the picture on the box..Doing pretty good for never have done this before and being 3.
Here's Jason's project that he's had going for some time now. For the people that know Jason this isn't a surprise - but he's going to finish this for me. I'm the one who just had to have this. It looks amazing, I must say.
Now we come to Austin-who was nice enough to let Macie help paint his. These two kept painting over areas that they already painted. So most of this bulldozer is black. Macie says Austin's has the dirty look and Eli said "Austin's look terrible"!!! The boys are still hard to understand, but getting better. It's always the unpleasant, funny statements that come out crystal clear.
I hate rainy days, b/c their boring and make me want to spend money. We finally decided on a picture that we both liked well enough to buy and for the ones that know us you'll agree that a miracle happened today - haha..Jason's not a big fan of poking holes in the walls, but when he does everything has to be measured PRECISELY!
Here's our newest picture-yea!! I really love it. You can't really tell in the picture, but it really looks good on the wall..

A Beauty

She's a beauty that's not too amused with this camera business. I love the picture!!

Here's a picture of the oil painting I ordered from Lesli's party. It looks exactly like the picture I gave her. Can't wait to see it in person.

Why Do I Bother?

For the ones that really know me-you know I love to take pictures. I've been trying for years to get that perfect shot of my kids, so I can get it blown up and hung on my wall..Not a lot to ask for - yeah well apparently it is. I tried to get some birthday pictures of the kids today and here's what usually happens. Let me also add not one of my 3 kids likes for their picture to be taken. This one is okay of Macie, but when we went for the other shots she complained of itching the whole time.
"Something's wrong with my eyes" is what Eli kept saying..Always one that has a problem on picture day. Last time it was Austin, today it's Eli. Even though it was cloudy, I guess the day was still too bright.
And here's Austin being Austin.

S'mores

Have you ever made smores in the oven? I hadn't until this evening. I must say they were the best I've ever had. I decided to take the kids outside to eat theirs and I'm glad I did. Messy is an understatement!
If you can't tell the kids loved them too..Austin had chocolate between his toes!
Did I mention how messy the smores were?
Here's my beloved Bud. He'll be 13 years old this year.
Here's some trampoline fun after they got cleaned up from the smore fun. Macie can now bounce on her bottom up to her feet. She's very proud of herself. Yea, Macie!
Here's a little hair static.

The Tooth Fairy Visits Again

Macie lost her 2nd bottom tooth at bedtime last night. I really thought she'd loose it at school, so before I dropped her off I told her at lunch be extra careful eating and if she chews on something hard spit it out..Picked her up from school-no missing tooth..

Later that evening we go out to eat to celebrate Macie's mamaw Patti's bday. Macie bites down on a delicious cinnamon roll and her tooth starts bleeding. I keep asking her if I can pull it (yes at the table in front of everyone), but she was like NO WAY !
So by bedtime that poor tooth was hanging by a tread, I mean I could have blown real hard on it and it would have fell right out. But at our house "we" believe that when it's ready it'll fall out on it's own. Before she gets into bed she asks "what if I lose my tooth while I'm asleep and I say "o you won't". So Jason and I are in bed watching TV and Macie runs into our room all kinda freaked out. At first I think she's gonna say she saw a mouse (don't ask why) and Jason thought she was gonna say Eli threw up (eli slept with her last night and everyone has colds. I guess puke and rodents are our 2 worst nightmares). But to our happiness she says her tooth fell out..YEA!!!!!!!! It bled quite a bit more than the 1st one did, but she didn't freak out like I thought she would. So the tooth fairy was flying around our house last night, like a bat outta hell, trying to gather up some money..
I have no idea what teeth go for these days and times, but Macie got $5. When I was a kid I only got $1 and maybe $5 for the molars.

The Boys Go To The Dentist

Today Macie and I had a dental appointment for a cleaning. At our last cleaning we tried to get the boys to let Aunt Amy clean their teeth, but they wanted no part of it. I've been telling them for a few weeks if they don't let aunt Amy clean their teeth they will turn brown. Before we went today Eli said he would sit in the chair, but I wasn't really convinced. Macie went first and Eli watched very closely to see what was going on..
Here's Eli before getting his pearly whites polished..
Eli was a very big boy today.
Austin went last. I wasn't for sure Austin would go for it, since he's not feeling well, but he was a big boy too. Both boys even let the dentist look at their teeth..

Welcome Spring Performance

Macie's kindergarten class put on a performance last night called Welcome Spring. When I say kindergarten class I mean the entire kindergarten, which is probably around 350 kids. Macie's class and another class were little snowflakes. Everyone did a wonderful job!! It was so cute! Anyways, here are a couple of pictures from the performance. Some of these kids were really getting into the music - hahahahaha..Too Cute!! Sorry for the music stand in Macie's way. It was either the stand or the teacher that were in my line of vision of Macie. This picture is of Macie's class singing their snowflake song.

Okay, in this picture I'm worried Macie's about to fall asleep!! - hahahaha She yawned through the whole thing..

Friday 13th Party

Hey guys, the birthday parties are almost over - so hang in there..Macie had our family party on Friday 13th. The number 13 proves to be a lucky number for Macie b/c she racked up on the presents. She got a ton of cute, cute clothes, an American Girl bed & accessories, 3 Kit doll outfits, the littlest pet shop wii game & toy, High School Musical dolls and movie, webkinz clothes & carrier, a bracelet making craft and best of all MONEY. For this party her cake came from The Dairy Queen and it was a Reese Cup cake and pretty tasty at that. Macie has the best family in the world, so thank you guys for all Macie's nice gifts.

I do have a cute little story to share..Remember Austin's baby he loves named Nappy. Well he told us this morning for his birthday he wants a bed for Nappy (b/c Macie got a bed for her AG Kit), so while he was over at his mamaw Donna's house she hooked him up with a left over doll bed of my sisters - hahahaa..I'll post pics when I get them.

Evening B-Day Party

Macie finally got to open her presents from us and the boys. Austin got Macie a double barrel dart shotgun, that is really powerful for a dart gun. Eli got Macie the hungry hippos game (they don't make them like they used to) and Jason and I got her a Wii and the kids LOVE IT!!! Macie liked the bowling the best I think, Eli liked to box and Austin was ALL about the baseball game..He calls himself Austin baseball - hahahaa

The cookie cake at Macie's school went well, of course. Aunt Amy brought the balloons and they were HUGE hit. The big family party is tomorrow night. Yea, more cake and presents.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MACIE!!!!!!

Birthday Eve

On this special birthday eve I want to share with you a couple of pictures of Macie being 5 years old. We hit some major & exciting milestones with this age.

Macie became a very good soccer player.
She became a Bulldog.
And started kindergarten, which was very tough for me-but she's doing excellent and loves it.
Boy she really had an amazing season for the "Wildcats". She scored 30 points the whole season.
She tried to play basketball, but that didn't turn out so well.
And she lost her 1st tooth!

She's going to have 3 birthday parties over the next 3 days..The blogging will be crazy, so bear with me. I know most of you are tired of this birthday deal, but I warned ya. Birthdays are special days.
