Today was 50's day at Macie's school!!

Along with a Halloween party.

And painting pumpkins..Painting and a white shirt really aren't a good combo.

Tonight Macie's schools PTO put on a Halloween Performance called Halloween In Storybook Land. She had a great time and loved dressing up.. I love this picture - captures her perfectly..

A Stitch maybe?

Here's Eli battle wound from making tents today. He somehow hit his head on his bed. Didn't faze him. Austin made him show me - lol

I thought it might need a stitch or two, so I showed the nurse today and she thought so too - but got a second opinion who thought it was fine.

So we glued it shut!! Looks just like new, almost.

An interesting night

Jason was left in charge of homework tonight and it was interesting so I hear. Some of Macie's spelling words this week are words that end in -uck, -ick, -ack...Needless to say the endings -uck & -ick made for some interesting words THAT Macie said. hehe

A Letter From.................

Macie loved this letter from the tooth fairy, but boy did it stir up some questions..She was so concerned about where the tooth fairy found a pencil and paper - hahahahaha And Macie was very impressed with the fact that the tooth fairy knew she was in school - haha

This morning after I fixed Macie's hair she said "I'm ready for my closeup"! LOL :0)

"The Help"

I've been reading a book called "The Help" and it's phenomenal. At 11pm last night I read the funniest thing I think I've ever read in a book. I was laughing one of those hard, belly laughs. You know the ones where no sound comes out - lol. I had tears streaming outta my eyes. I woke Jason up and scared him half to death. He had no clue what was wrong with me - hehe

HORRIBLE pic, I know!!! These last two were taken last week after I rolled Macie's hair in towel strips. We put on a concert. Austin was a dancer.

Eli got so upset when Austin kept scoring. This exact thing happened a few weeks ago to Austin when Eli scored 4 goals..Poor Eli, it's not like him to get this upset - but he was heart broke. Austin was a great brother and tried passing the ball to him twice. Eli finally scored a goal and that made him a tad happier. Snacks after the game made everything better. That's the whole reason to play, right?
